Bat Cave & Landak River BBQ Tour

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel, and you will begin the journey to the Bat Cave. Along the way, you will pass palm oil plantations and small local farms. You may be lucky enough to see macaques, Thomas leaf monkeys, or sometimes pig-tailed macaques. After approximately 25 minutes, we will reach the cave.

The cave is 500 meters long, and our guide will provide torches for you. Along the ceiling of the cave, you will see thousands of bats nesting.

After exploring the cave, we will continue our journey for about 30 minutes to Landak River, a beautiful clear river located at the edge of the forest.

​​

​

Here, you can relax and swim while your guide prepares a local BBQ.

 

 

At the end of the day (around 3:00 PM), we will begin the journey back to Bukit Lawang.
