An Incredible Experience – Even Better Staff
Review of the One-Day Jungle Trek
We had an amazing time on our one-day jungle trek. From the very beginning, Tyson welcomed us at our hostel with fresh fruit juice and explained the different options available, working with us to find the best trekking choice to suit our schedule and budget.
The trek started the next day, and our guide was absolutely fantastic setting a comfortable pace, not too fast, and taking the time to explain many interesting things about the jungle and its wildlife. We saw nearly 10 Sumatran orangutan, as well as several other types of monkeys and birds.
Tyson, our guide, also prepared a beautiful fruit display for our morning snack break and later for lunch. With him, we felt able to move away from the crowds and explore the jungle in a more personal way. Toward the end, we visited a small waterfall and pool, which was perfect for a refreshing swim after the heat of the day.
We truly cannot thank the team enough for such a wonderful experience, for being so welcoming, and for making our time in Bukit Lawang a lifelong memory. Thank you!
